Our adoption process is designed to make sure each dog finds the right forever home — and that each adopter feels supported along the way. 🐾❤️

Here’s what to expect:

1) Submit an application – We’ll review your application and learn more about you and your home.

2) Vet check & phone interview – We’ll verify current pets are up to date on veterinary care and chat with you about your experience and expectations.

3) Home check – If approved, we’ll schedule a home check to make sure the environment is safe and ready for your new dog.

4) Meet & greet – You’ll meet the dog in your home or another approved location to see if it’s the right match.

5) 7-day trial adoption – If everything feels right, you’ll begin a 7-day trial period to give you and your new pup time to adjust.

Once adopted, we encourage adopters to follow the 3-3-3 rule: give your new dog time to decompress, adjust to their new routine, and eventually feel at home. Every dog is different, so patience and consistency are key. 🏡🐶

Our goal is simple: the best possible match for both the dog and the adopter. 💕

Our adoption fee is $290, which helps cover the essential veterinary care the dog receives before going home. 🐾❤️

The adoption fee includes:

🩺 Spay/neuter surgery

📍 Microchip for permanent identification and added peace of mind

Your adoption fee helps give a rescue dog the care they need for a fresh start — and a second chance at the life they deserve.

Absolutely! 🐾 We want every potential adopter to have the opportunity to meet their potential new family member — but because Bubbles is a foster-based rescue, we don’t have a physical shelter or central location where the dogs can be visited. Our dogs are cared for in loving foster homes.

To schedule a meet & greet, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, we can move forward with arranging a meet & greet with the dog you’re interested in. ❤️

We do this to help protect our foster dogs from unnecessary stress and prevent anyone from getting their hopes up before we know whether the adoption is a potential fit. Our priority is always making the best match for both the dog and the adopter.

🐶 What about adoption events?

When we have a public adoption event, you’re welcome to meet our available dogs there without going through the individual meet & greet process first. Keep an eye on our social media for upcoming events!

Yes! 🏡🐾 As part of our adoption process, we conduct a home check for approved applicants before moving forward with the adoption.

The purpose of the home check isn’t to judge your home or expect perfection — it’s simply to make sure the environment is safe and appropriate for the dog you’re interested in adopting. We’ll also use this opportunity to answer any questions you may have and make sure you feel prepared to welcome your new family member. ❤️

Because every dog has different needs, we want to ensure the home is a good fit for both the dog and the adopter.

Our goal is always a safe, happy, and successful forever home! 🐶💕

Yes! 🐾❤️ We offer a 7-day trial adoption period to give both you and your new pup time to adjust and make sure it’s the right fit.

During the trial, you’ll have the opportunity to see how your dog settles into your home, routine, and family. We understand that sometimes, despite everyone’s best efforts, a match may not be the right one.

If the adoption isn’t the right fit within the 7-day trial period, the dog may be returned to Bubbles Rescue, and your $290 adoption fee will be fully refunded.

After the 7-day trial period, the adoption fee is non-refundable. If, for any reason, we feel that a particular dog would benefit from a longer trial period, we may make an adjustment on a case-by-case basis.

Yes! 🐾❤️ Our dogs receive the necessary veterinary care before they leave our rescue and head to their forever homes. Their adoption fee of $290 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchipping.

There is a huge need for spay and neuter, and we see the impact of overpopulation every single day in rescue. That’s why we believe so strongly in responsible pet ownership and making sure every dog adopted through Bubbles is spayed or neutered before they leave our care.

Our goal is to give every dog the healthiest possible start to their new chapter — while also doing our part to help prevent more unwanted litters and reduce the number of dogs entering the rescue system. 🐶❤️

Yes! 🐾❤️ We share as much information as we know about each dog’s history, personality, and behavior to help potential adopters make an informed decision.

Because many of our dogs come from difficult or unknown backgrounds, we don’t always know their complete history. However, our fosters spend time getting to know each dog in a home environment, which allows us to learn about their personality, habits, likes and dislikes, and how they do with people, children, other dogs, and everyday life.

We’ll always be honest about what we know — including any behavioral concerns, medical needs, or special considerations — because transparency is so important when finding the right match.

And remember, a dog’s behavior in foster care may change as they become more comfortable and secure in their new home. We encourage adopters to be patient, give their new pup time to decompress, and understand that what you see on day one may not be who that dog is once they feel safe and settled.

Some of our dogs may come to us with medical conditions, ongoing treatments, or behavioral needs that require a little extra care, patience, or support. 🐾❤️

If a dog has known medical or behavioral needs, we will be upfront and transparent with potential adopters and share as much information as we can. Our fosters play an important role in helping us understand what each dog needs and what type of home will be the best fit.

We also take these needs into consideration when reviewing applications. Not every dog is the right match for every home, and that’s okay! Our goal is to find the right family who is prepared and willing to provide the care, patience, and support that a particular dog may need.

Sometimes, our dogs simply need time, consistency, training, and lots of love to help them feel safe and confident.

Our priority will always be doing what is best for the dog — even when that means taking a little more time to find their perfect match. 💕

💰 Donate — Donations help us provide veterinary care, food, medications, supplies, and everything else our dogs need while they are in our care.

🎁 Donate supplies — Food, crates, toys, beds, cleaning supplies, and other essentials are always helpful.

🤝 Volunteer — Help with adoption events, transportation, fundraising, administrative tasks, or other rescue needs.

❤️ Support our fundraisers — Even small contributions add up and help us continue saying yes to dogs who need us.
