The current adoption fee is $390 and helps cover veterinary care, preventative medication, vaccinations, and the treatment each dog needs before adoption.

- Phone interview
The rescue talks through the application and learns more about the potential match.
- Home check
An in-person visit is used when possible, with a virtual option for an out-of-state home.
- Meet and greet
You meet the dog and see whether the connection feels right for everyone.
- Veterinarian check
The rescue verifies the care history of current or previous pets.
- 10–14 day trial
The dog settles in while both sides make sure the placement works.
- Make it official
Once the trial is successful, the adoption is finalized.
